June 18, 2004 - This is a date engraved on my heart and soul. It is the day when my daughter was injured during daycare. My whole body ached when I got the call, and after a lot of soul searching, I realized that the clear answer for me was to keep her at home and open a daycare of my own. Hence, Hoadly Playroom was born.

Though Hoadly Playroom started as a solution to an immediate problem, it quickly became very clear to me that I enjoy taking care of children, and providing quality daycare is something that I want to commit to as a long-term career. As it turns out, I have been able to incorporate everything into Hoadly Playroom that I wanted in a daycare when I was a full-time working mom. I'm very proud of our center, and I hope that you and your children will enjoy it as much as we do.

Hoadly Playroom is a small, in-home, licensed facility that cares for infants and toddlers under five. We operate more like a close family, with a fun and relaxed program that caters to each child's needs; yet our personal care also includes educational goals and regular craft projects and lessons to get the kids ready for full-time school programs.
