SERVICES

Hoadly Playroom is a small, in-home, licensed facility that provides care for infants and toddlers under five. Our "regular" hours are Monday-Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., with the exception of standard holidays. We also provide daycare one weekend evening a month as part of our "Parents Night Out" program.

INFANT CARE
Hoadly Playroom loves caring for infants, and many toddlers enrolled today have been with our center since their earliest days away from home! We understand that babies have their own individual needs, so we pride ourselves on giving our youngest patrons their own unique schedules. Each infant is assigned a crib for nap time, and are invited to play in a variety of settings safe for baby (swings, exersaucer, gated floor area), as their skills dictate. They are also given individualized attention from our staff, that is so important for stimulating baby's social development. Most importantly, we talk to our parents to make sure that we give each baby what he or she needs.

TODDLER CARE
Toddlers are important at Hoadly Playroom, and we take extra care to give them the love and attention they crave while they are away from mom and dad. We operate our toddler program based on a daily schedule, though we sometimes alter the day's plans based on the children's needs. Lessons and crafts are a big part of the toddler program, and we study everything from colors, letters and shapes to animals, geography, and even space exploration! Hoadly Playroom also emphasizes outdoor play and physical fitness, as we believe that healthy, active children grow up to be healthy, active adults.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT
Parents need time on their own that's not always spent at the workplace. That's why Hoadly Playroom offers Parents Night Out each month. Typically scheduled for the third Saturday of each month, we open the playroom up during weekend hours as a special benefit for our parents and kids. Both toddlers and infants are welcome during Parents Night Out, though space is available each month on a first-come, first-reserved basis. Special outing nights are also offered during peak seasons, such as during the winter holiday shopping rush.

SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS
We host seasonal celebrations for all of our families four times a year. There's a Harvest Party in the fall, a Seasonal Celebration in the winter, a Valentine's Day Gathering in February, and a Spring Bash in May. These after-hour parties give our families and staff a chance to mingle and get to know one another better. The kids (and several of the parents) absolutely love it.
